Road Conditions Update - 5/11/2014 All West side open. East side open except for upper loop above Ober's Lot 744 by "S" curve and Lot 762 on Blue Spruce. Refer to map on Site to see where these lots are if you are not familiar with them. (5/11/2014) |
Road Conditions Update - 5/04/2014 West side is all open. Some drifts on Red Fir Way and Balsam but passable. Use caution. East Side...Caribou and Caribou Ct are closed due to drifts in sections on the road. Uncompahgre is open and dry but not accessible due to Caribou being closed. East Ashley is open to caribou Ct. West Ashley and Kaibab open. Uintah open to the junction of it and Shingle Mill. Upper loop still closed as well from Blue Spruce at Ross' cabin(Lot 795). Blue Spruce open to Ross' but advise 4 X 4 as there are still lots of drifts across the road. (5/4/2014) |
Road Conditions Update - 4/30/2014 Uintah open to Blue Spruce. Blue Spruce open to Merrill Ross Cabin Lot 495. Closed beyond there (4 X 4 advised). Piney open all the way with some ice patches. Drive carefully. Upper loop still closed. Most of the West end is open except Red Fir Way - there is still snow and ice on this road. (4/30/2014) |
Gates & Roads The West and East gates are now open. You can drive from one gate to the other via Targhee and lower Uintah . Use caution as there is still some snow on the roads. All roads other than these two are closed to vehicle traffic. (4/18/2014) |
