Trespassing

A person or persons went on to another Lot owners property and cut down two large pine trees. Not only is Pine Mountain involved by Rule #3 but so is the Summit County Sherriff as trespassing is also illegal in the County. Be advised and respect other s property and do not trespass. (7/14/2014)

Asphalt Paving

We will be grading on July 14 and 15 in preparation to laying down asphalt on July 16 and 17.
The roads affected are Caribou and East Ashley on the East side and Conifer from the junction of Balsam on the West.

There will be times you will not be able to get to your cabin as the grading and paving crews prepare and finish these roads. Be prepared for detours and/or waits until the crews are past where you want to go. Thank you for your patience. (7/7/2014)

Spray

It is time to be thinking about spraying for Pine Beatle and Thistle.

PINE BEATLES...The following work....Hi Yield with 55% Malathion or Hi Yield 38 plus with Permethrin. Both should contain Carbanoyl in the ingredients.

THISTLE ....The following work....WEEDestroy AM-40 Amine Salt or other sprays if they contain Dimethylamine salt of 2,4 or Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid. There are two types of Thistle out there and the one in our area is called Canadian Thistle. Make sure any spray you buy is for this type or it may not work. The best way to get rid of them is with a shovel. Dig out the plant, roots and all. Do not let it flower or is harder to kill with spray.

One place to get product that will work is the IFA Coop in Marion which is on the highway between Oakley and Kamas. They will know what to use if you can't find the above. (6/15/2014)
