SNOW GATES The snow gates will be closed this year the Sunday after Thanksgiving, December 1st, at 3:00 P.M.
Please have all vehicles down in the lower parking lots before this time to avoid being locked in.
The gates could be closed earlier if we have freezing day and night temperatures or too much snow making driving hazardous.
Earlier closures will be posted on this web site. For up to date information, call Carl O Gwinn at 1-435-173-1163 (11/1/2013) |
WARNING - Winterize Your Cabin If you have not already done so, now is the time to winterize your cabin. Every year we have frozen pipes, toilets,
sink and shower/tub traps because water has been left on or in them and lines are not winterized by draining, blowing out or filling with trailer antifreeze.
What ever your method, the below freezing night temperatures at Pine Mountain warrant your attention. (10/14/2013) |
FREEZING TEMPERATURES The temperatures at Pine Mountain are dropping well below freezing on a nightly basis.
Now is a good time to winterize your cabin and to avoid potential problems with frozen pipes, etc.
You can click the Weber Canyon Weather link to get a current reading of the weather in the canyon. (10/7/2013) |
